In the fitness world, it seems like most gyms are only geared toward a younger demographic.
Or, they're geared toward people who have a ton of fitness experience and motivation to workout consistently on their own.
Those gyms can be great—but they're not for everyone.
That's why Fuel exists.
If you're somewhere between 40 and 70+, looking to boost your energy, lose weight, and improve your strength…
If you've been searching for the right fitness solution that can adapt to your unique needs, age, goals, and busy lifestyle…
If you're ready for a workout routine that you'll actually stick to…
You'll love what we offer at Fuel.
It's not a do-it-yourself gym.
It's not large group fitness classes and bootcamps.
It's not one-on-one personal training.
There are plenty of gym memberships for that. And they're all different.
The do-it-yourself model works for people with a high-degree of self-motivation and fitness experience. These gyms are often cheap in price because you're only paying to use the equipment. After a quick tour, it's up to you to figure out how to use it all. For most people, it can feel intimidating and lonely without having the proper guidance, structure, and energy. It's hard to make progress which makes it easy to stop showing up.
Large group fitness classes and bootcamps can be fun. The energy keeps you engaged and consistent. But with 20-30 people in a class, it makes it impossible for personalized coaching. It's a one-size-fits-all, which means that the workouts aren't tailored to your fitness level, fix technique, or modified to suit any injuries you might have. This model also tends to work better for a younger demographic—it can be high-impact (jumping, running, etc.) and cardio-focused—making it challenging for those of us getting older and dealing with previous or current joint problems.
Then you've got one-on-one personal training, when you work directly with a coach who creates personalized workout programs based on your goals, experience, and injury/medical history, and provides real-time feedback on your form. The problem with this model is that it's unsustainable. One-on-one training lacks the energy and community found in large group classes. It's also expensive. Most one-one-one sessions run anywhere from $80-$100/session. After a few sessions every week? You've now got a fitness membership that's 2X your car payment each month.
What we offer at Fuel is uniquely different. We believe that everyone deserves to live a fuller, healthier life—regardless of your age or ability.
That’s why we’ve created our one-of-a-kind, Fuel Small Group Personal Training Program. It’s specifically designed for individuals aged 40-70+ who are seeking a premium, personalized, structured, fitness experience to live a stronger, healthier life.
Our small group personal training sessions feature a low 1-8 coach-to-client ratio, ensuring that every Fuel member receives personalized coaching, tailored exercises, appropriate intensity levels, and necessary modifications to reach their unique fitness goals.
With this model, you'll benefit from the motivating energy of a community while having fun and maintaining consistency week after week. This combination of personalized training and group camaraderie creates the ultimate workout experience.
Let's get into 5 reasons why our Small Group Personal Training is the workout you've been waiting for.
Traditional gyms miss personalization. At Fuel, one size does not fit all—our sessions are thoughtfully designed to cater to your unique needs. Whether you're new to exercise, have specific fitness goals, dealing with previous or current injuries, the first step after you sign up is getting to know you. We'll sit down, have a conversation, and create a detailed profile that allows our coaches to tailor each workout to your needs.
A key to sticking to a workout is structure. Imagine for a moment: You show up at Fuel for your session and your entire workout is planned—every detail from the warm-up, to the strength and cardio circuits, to the cool-down. Every detail is meticulously constructed for you. Your coach is there to guide you through each step of the workout, showing you exactly how to safely complete each movement, how to use each piece of equipment, and how to match each exercise to your fitness level.
No more confusion. No more intimidation. No more frustration. You've got enough to think about and worry about each day. That's why we're here—to make it easy to get into the best shape of your life.
You just need to show up. We'll take care of the rest.
Our commitment to a results-driven approach means that you won't spend excessive hours at the gym. In just 50 minutes, you'll get a workout that leaves you feeling energized, accomplished, and one step closer to your health and fitness aspirations.
Each 50-minute session focuses on exercises that will have the biggest impact on your health and get you the best results. This includes:
Here’s how our sessions are structured:
Warm-Up (10 minutes): We'll prepare your body to workout through a variety of stretches and movements dedicated to improving posture, flexibility, and core temperature.
Strength and Core Training Circuits (25 minutes): Then you'l rotate through a variety of total-body strength exercises at your own pace. This circuit format keeps the workout exciting and your rate rate up throughout the session.
Cardio Finisher (5 minutes): The grand finale of our workout is our cardio finisher. Here you'll get your heart rate up, burn fat, and improve your cardio.
Cool-Down and Stretch (5 minutes): We'll end each session with a cool-down dedicated to bringing your heart rate down, starting the recovery process, and improving flexibility.
If you're worried about aggravating old injuries, or not being able to run and jump during a session, you belong at Fuel. Our expert coaches are world-class at crafting joint-friendly workouts and providing exercise modifications that ensure you get the most out of your sessions without compromising your body's well-being. At Fuel, we believe injury should never hold you back from working towards your health and fitness goals.
Remember that detailed profile we created for you before your first session? Our coaches use your fitness profile to create a tailored experience for you every session. Bad knee that hurts when you squat? Our coaches will have your modifications ready before you arrive, which might look like a similar, but equally effective exercise that still allows you to get stronger and work toward your goals—without putting any pressure on your knee.
